Eighth Gradahz!
I forget the first part where it started, but eventually, anyways, I was at school. It was a new school, a different one, and it felt like it was my first day, although I had just been absent for a long time. The halls were big and somehow thick. Everything was dark wood, and it felt old. Antique.
My first class was art. I came into this room with heavy wood tables built into the walls. All the seats were facing toward the wall so that you could focus on your work or something. I sat down betwen two girls who I never saw the faces of, and found a big piece of yellow construction paper covered with intricate designs and doodles. It had my name on it, but I thought to myself 'I never did this, I've been absent.'
Then I realized that the wall I was facing was some sort of two-way glass. People in the hall could see in and I could see out, though only through a kind of fog or mist. All of a sudden, a bunch of 8th graders came down the hall, heading to lunch, and I tried to find someone I knew in the crowd. May have seen Alexis.
Then it was lunch. No one ate or got up, they just turned and started talking happily to their friends. Ryan Hoang was eating out in the hall with some other people, and he kept looking at me through the glass wall thing, which made me really uncomfortable. So I turned to the girls on either side of me and tried to keep a conversation going so that I wouldn't have to look back. They were nice.
Then it was back to work time. The atmosphere seemed much more comfortable now, and I asked the girl on my right about my drawing. She said "Someone else must've done it for you," so I shrugged and decided to paint it.
But before I could start, school was over.
Suddenly I was outside City after school, hanging out with a bunch of 8th graders. I was wearing this grey Gordon Food Service shirt that for some reason I found very flattering. It used to belong to this guy who looked just like Alex Tabashzka, but who was actually named Alex J. Beam, according to the sewn-on nametag.
Sam was there, and he asked me what my name was. I was like "Ah liser Sheesha Bug Antandre Lupe Papakyriakovski-Zychechevanstaniopolis the First." Then I looked down at my nametag and said, "Oh. I mean... Alex J. Beam." Then Alexis started cracking up about something.
All of a sudden, me and the old Daka were walking from the side of the school by College Street to the front of the school. There was a bunch of cement craziness making it seem a lot more crowded than it was. We spotted Rasa and ran over. She had in her hands this super-fluffy white hamster, and she said "Merry Christmas! It's a puppy!" and we were like "It's a puppy!" I tried to pick it up but it kept squirming around and I was like "this thing is more like a hamster than a puppy." It got so out of control that I accidentally grated it against the cement thing. It wasn't hurt, but it had yellow paint all over it's fur. Rasa squealed "Aaaaw! Poor puppy!" and me and Daka decided to go inside and wash the yellow paint off our hands, despite the fact that there was no paint.
The inside of the school looked just like it does now, but the foyer was really big. By the time we got to the drinking fountain and stopped, Daka had turned into Essie. We didn't want to go into the bathroom because a few people were standing right in front of the door with a professional video camera, apparently taping the sign that someone had put up. I forget what it said. Then we turned around and saw this strange platform in the foyer where a bunch of other people were taping. I turned and hoped they wouldn't notice me, because I had zits all over my face all of a sudden, and preffered not to be seen.
Then, I forget just what happened, but for some reason or another, Ms. Jimenez ended up giving us both detention. So we got onto the elevator, which had been jazzed up due to the cease of the budget cut. Instead of the sliding doors, there was a blue curtain. There was golden carpet and bookshelves in the back, and a whole mess of armchairs and folding chairs taking up space. In the back corner were two girls who looked exactly like Tracy Aldrich, except one was black and one was Hispanic, and they both had Zorro mustaches. They were bickering. In front of the bookshelf was my 2nd cousin Joel and some kid, and there were other people on the other side of them. Me and Essie sat sort of in front and I tried to figure out who the two mustached ladies were. I eventually figured they were Tracy's older sisters.
By and by, a disgruntled Ms. Jimenez came in and said that the office was only accepting two students to serve detention, and that only Essie and I had to stay. Everyone jumped up and was like YAY and left. Ms. Jimenez gave Essie a Swiffer and me a Wet Swiffer. We left the elevator room thing and I was like "Of course she'd pick US two."
Then we parted. I went to this tiny, dark McDonalds that was part of a bigger building. I started Swiffering the floor and every time I got close to the wall, it would get a little bigger. Eventually I was running with the Swiffer, trying to keep up, as the room kept getting longer and brighter, and there was some sort of presentation playing over the intercom where a man would say a random date and a little kid would say "Best restaurant in the world!" Finally it stopped, and I stopped, and this guy and this kid were pushing tables to fit better in the now-expanded McDonalds. Then the guy set up a platform thing and all of a sudden the room was full of 8th graders and it was dark. We were all sitting on the floor and I laid my Swiffer down, greatly relieved that I wouldn't have to finish.
The guy was giving some sort of a presentation. I didn't hear any of it. Three 8th graders sitting near me were talking and laughing and having fun. One looked like the girl from Fotki who looks sorta like Alyson, one looked kind of like that annoying 7th grade guy but I kept thinking he was my 2nd cousin Joel, and one I never saw the face of. The Fotki/Alyson girl was like "Yeah, that's just like what Sam was doing at lunch! Did you see Sam at lunch?" The guy answered for me. "No, now she's in... niiiiinth grade."
I was like "Yeah," mildly surprised he knew. Then he went off listing a bunch of facts about me, like what kind of music I liked and what I wanted to be when I grew up. I think he mentioned the school play. Then he was like, "and in a poll, all of my family members said you were a baby."
Trying to ignore the utter dismay at this strange guy polling his family on what they thought of me, I prepared to ask him whether 'baby' was a good or a bad thing. However, I never got to, because the dream ended and I woke up.
Damn, that's craziness. Very, VERY, long craziness.

PICKLESAUCE!
I dreamt I couldn't stop eating the dill pickle flavored potato chips. I kept thinking - no! Must stop! But like they say... you can't eat just one.

Battling Deatheaters
This was a short, hypnogogic companion to the Dementor dream. Harry, Hermione, and I were outside this huge white building in the middle of the night. Hermione was hiding behind a wall while me and Harry dueled long distance with a group of deatheaters. While Harry held the rest of them off, I disarmed one, performed Wingardium Leviosa, flew his ass up like 30 feet (Harry: "What are you doing?" Me: "In a sadistic way, HAVING FUN!"), and dropped him.
MUAHAHA! I so evil.

Battling Dementors
I had a dream that Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and I were at this office/mall-like thing. I dunno. There was this obvious romance between Harry and Hermione while we were walking. They were all holding hands and such. (And even I, a faithful R/H Shipper, thought they went nicely together.)
So we went down this hallway that looked like a really dark, really BROWN office hall. When we stopped outside a door, Hermione leaned against Harry and said "I'm going in. When I come back, something will be with me."
Then she went through the door. Harry and I sat down on a bench and chatted. He was nice. Then, after an altogether too long wait, Hermione came out and sat down on the other bench quite naturally. No one was with her. But all of a sudden, I knew exactly what she meant, and then rose out of the doorway - DUHN DUHN DUHN - a dementor!
Harry and I jumped up and tried the Patronus charm, but it wouldn't work. Then, quite suddenly, the dementor turned into a gigantic, pink, funnel shaped flower-thing, which was coming out of a painting on the wall. It had a high-pitched voice and at first I thought it would put us to sleep. Then it started saying "Hermioneeee, Heeermiooonee..." and she sat down on the bench and started crying. I realized the flower-thing was her greatest fear. (It was still a dementor, just with boggart powers. I was getting my PoA references mixed up.)
So Harry and I kept trying to Patronify it, but I soon realized that I didn't have a happy thought. While clambering for one, Harry finally triumphed. Then we moved on to the the next painting on the wall (a lovely landscape of the Scottish coast) and my boggart-dementor was supposed to come out next. I thought "Oh no, it's gonna be a werewolf" but when the dementor came out of the picture, it didn't change, it was just a dementor. Harry and I (I guess we were third years and Hermy couldn't do a Patronus) tried to do it in, but the hallway was getting narrower and the dementor was getting closer. I realized again that I had no happy thought, and after a brief, desperate panic a picture of a lemon drop burst into my mind. I was all like "EXPECTO PATRONUM" and the dementor was all like *goes away like poof* and I was all like 'yay! I defeated it!'
Then Ms. Ballema came down the hall, being her usual chipper, smiley self, and I told her "This is FUN!" while my insides boiled with excitement. Which was rather unprofessional of me, because we were supposed to be on some type of mission. Eh.

Mall Sleepover
I dreamt there was this sleepover thing at the mall. There was this big room with 2 sets of bunk beds in it and a door that led to the main mall place. Anywho, first there was the 'That 70's Show' cast and some random romantic moment between Eric and Donna. Then Andy Richter, some other old guy, and a bunch of high-school girls were there.
Andy came up with the idea to take off their clothes and share beds. (Oddly enough, there was no s3xual connotations with this suggestion, it was just random like woah.) At first, it was funny, but after a while all the girls running around in their underclothes and jumping on the beds got annoying and I was worried someone's parents would come in and I'd be embarrassed to be seen with the lot of 'em.
I sat down on one of the beds and then Daka was there and we talked about something or other. Then Aaron Smith (AGH! HIM AGAIN!) came through the mall-door and was all like "This party is lame."
Then we saw Ashley Lange and she glared at Aaron, and I remembered that they didn't get along at school. (Which I don't think is really true.)
Then we left. o.0 *weirded out*

Roller Coaster Fun
I dreamt that Rasa and I both got a job at a roller coaster thing. Rasa was the master-in-charge and I was the person who checks everyone's straps before they leave. The roller coaster itself was all orangey. Except it was slightly spooky because it was all dark and sad looking, despite the lovely coloration.
Anywho, I was standing on the platform while everyone rode past so I could check them, but I really was just talking to them. Everyone said something to me as they passed, and the Olsen twins were in one cart. Then a lady with some spiky-haired little kid that looked like Benjamin asked if he was too old for the ride. (Jokingly, of course. Heh. Funny. :P) I good-naturedly laughed and said I thought he'd be okay.
When the last cart passed, I felt relieved and turned to talk to Daka (who was visiting me at work) and Aaron Smith (who was the other strap-checker-person on the other set of carts). I told Aaron how I hate doing that because I never know what to say to each of them. I seemed to think that each passenger deserved their own unique phrase of farewell. Then I realized it would be easier to come up with 2 different things to say and go every other person. (o.0) Then we all sat down and talked more about Rasa.
Over underneath the coaster, on a wooden platform, Rasa was preparing everyone for the ride by throwing her boot at them and having them catch it. When the Olsen twins missed, she called for me to read the 'Downstairs Coaster Rules'. So I got up and turned to this black sign that had 3 rules on it.
#1 described how you had to take care of your clown. You were supposed to throw it very far from you and remove all the clutter from around it. You could not allow your clown to have a spider. And one day, if you follow these guidelines, it could become a real boy.
#2 said that Professor Snape recieved anger treatment in 1991 and you are all advised to go and get some, too.
I read this out loud to the passengers, but I had never read the rules before so I was a bit confused. But of course I didn't say anything because I was on orders from the master-in-charge. And I never got to #3 because I woke up.
Damn telephone.

Then I ate donut holes!!!

Dancing in the Rain
Oooh, last night I dreamt something about how I was dancing in the rain in my front yard - in the middle of the night. And Kyle drove up and I either tried to run away or I talked to him. I know I talked to him at some point. Oh no - maybe that was Sam. EEK. Why does he keep haunting my dreams? Yeah, Sam was definitely in there, and there was something about my kitchen.
My house was how it is now, but it was all dark and empty. Something about the TV...
Uh... the dream felt really strange, yet really familiar. But mostly strange. Like a different world you would discover in a fantasy novel.
Uh... bad analogy. More like an Alternate Universe of my life. With a different past and different possibilities. Anywho, it was waaaaay cool. And just like that world in the fantasy novel, I want to go back and explore.

Zoltan's Fortune
I dreamt about Zoltan last night. He's the fortune-telling machine at the arcade we went to last night. (In reality, he told me that I would be going on a trip soon, and the results of such would embetter my outlook. I need to dress more conservatively in shades of blue and 3 is a lucky number.) So... in my dream he said that I would be going on a trip soon and I thought "I'm already on one, you dolt," and then he said something about red. I ran and told Daka that he mentioned the trip thing AGAIN and she laughed and that's all I recall.
Not a terrible lot of fun, but there it is.

Witchcraft
Remus and - I think - Severus were there, but probably not at the beginning. We were recreating Dragon's death. He was there, too, or it was some sort of magic "dummy". We were in my basement, where it happened, but somehow it wasn't my basement.
My best friend (the name slips my mind) was with me. She looked like Ichabod Crane's mother, only younger and with a higher-cut shirt. She was a witch, too. Her mother was executed (burned, I think) for witchcraft, and this was somehow involved with Dragon's death.
After we recreated his death with the septic pump thing, she and I were walking and talking about something on a sunny dirt road. We reached the end, which was a village clearing. Remus was waiting for us in front of a well. Other HP realm characters (predominantly adult male) were constantly hovering, silently, in the background. Remus had some sort of interaction with the well (pulled something out of it?) and talked to us.
At the end (the dream really wanted to continue but I was waking up), my best friend in the green satin dress was discovered to be a witch (which I somehow knew all along) and condemned to be burned. I don't think I saw the execution, but I know it happened because the dream ended with her dead, unscorched but limp, me mourning, and Remus standing by. Severus and other wizards were again lingering in the background like shadows.
I wish it hadn't been so vague.

Burglaring and Shoe-blimps
I was walking down this open, summery road and suddenly a village came into view. The landscape looked like it had been modeled after Neopets or a video game. Then I was walking in the streets with my mom. The houses were far from the road but I got the strange impression that there were hundreds of roads nearby. There was a tiny blimp going overhead and when I asked my mom about it, she said it delivered shoes or something.
Somehow I got stuck on it, and it was going out of control and dropping shoes or boxes or something, and lots of people were staring. Finally it threw me off and I was inside this big white house (which looked realistic now). My mom was back but it seemed like the rest of the town was empty. Now me and my mom were burglars. We stuffed things into pillowcases and went through the oak cupboards. It was really weird because in that time, I understood what it felt like to be a burglar. I had to be fast and quiet and careful and I was scared.
Then me and my mom started arguing about something but a key was turning in the lock. I hid behind a column because I knew I couldn't make it down the hall fast enough. A little Indian girl came in and I saw her face. She saw me and just stared.
I think something else happened after that, but I was really panicky feeling and waking up.
Forever Ago
Premonition
I can't really use 'I' because I wasn't me. I was just some concious entity, floating, hovering down stairs. My basement door. Down.
In the basement, I knew just where to go. Pace quickens, to the other room, with the machinery and the boxes. The lights are on. Grey.
The sump pump - a bottomless hole in the floor filled with black water - something dire about the sump pump. I'm so high up, looking down.
I stop. Everything freezes.
Dragon is dead, in the sump pump. Floating. Dead.
